Leader Eastern Sk\u00e5ne is looking for a project manager & youth coach<\/h1>\n

Are you passionate about youth participation in rural development?
\n<\/strong>Do you want to help develop eastern Sk\u00e5ne?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a project manager and coach for our youth project "\u201dYOUNG in Eastern Sk\u00e5ne<\/a>\u201d". You will be part of a small and creative team with an important development mission. As a project manager\/youth coach, you will ensure that the young people's drive and ideas are taken advantage of and support them in implementing them.<\/p>\n

To succeed in the role of project manager\/youth coach, you need to have a passionate interest in young people's participation in rural development. You are stimulated by helping young people and realizing their project ideas. As a person, you are structured, committed, educational, solution-focused and responsible. You have good collaboration skills and can take your own initiative.<\/p>\n

The association and the employer<\/h3>\n

Leader \u00d6stra Sk\u00e5ne works with rural development through the Leader method and grants project funds to associations, companies and public organizations. The activities are financed with support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, the Swedish state and the following municipalities: Brom\u00f6lla, H\u00e4ssleholm, Kristianstad, Osby, Perstorp, Simrishamn, Tomelilla, Ystad and \u00d6stra G\u00f6inge. The Leader method is a successful method that has been used in the EU since 1991. The method involves conducting development work based on local conditions and local initiatives.<\/p>\n

Job duties<\/h3>\n

Your main tasks are to seek out, support and coordinate young people between the ages of 15 and 25 in eastern Sk\u00e5ne with ideas or wishes. Your role is then to attract the young people's own potential and support them in their work to realize these ideas. You are with them all the way in the implementation of small or larger sub-projects that in various ways make eastern Sk\u00e5ne a more attractive place to live and work. A large part of the work is also to make the youth project and its opportunities visible in different contexts and on different platforms such as schools, festivals, the web and social media.<\/p>\n

You are responsible, with support from other staff at the leader office, for the project's (and sub-projects') planning, implementation, budget, marketing and reporting. The assignment also involves close contact with, among others, municipal representatives, association activists and leisure educators.<\/p>\n
