This week we are delighted to welcome our new project manager and youth coach, Ermina Str\u00f6m, to the team! We have long been looking forward to having a colleague with a full focus on the young residents of the Leader area \u2013 and now she is finally here.<\/h3>\n

Hi Ermina, how does it feel to be up and running?
\n<\/strong>It feels super wonderful!<\/p>\n

What are you most passionate about when working with young people?<\/strong>
\nYoung people's participation and influence are close to my heart. Collaboration with associations, companies and municipalities to create good living conditions for young people.<\/p>\n

Can you tell us a little about your background \u2013 what did you do before you started here?<\/strong>
\nI have had various roles throughout my 20 years of experience in creating good conditions for young people. I have mostly worked in the culture and leisure sector. In addition, I help out in the family business \u2013 where ice cream is the main ingredient.<\/p>\n

Do you have a dream or vision for how you want the work with young people in the area to develop?<\/strong>
\nI dream of a meaningful, safe, and inclusive (full of opportunities) community for young people in the area.<\/p>\n

What do you think is most important for young people to feel involved in the local community?<\/strong>
\nBeing responsive and daring to test ideas that come from young people.<\/p>\n

What do you like to do in your free time when you're not working?<\/strong>
\nHanging out with my kids, my family, and eating ice cream.<\/p>\n

If you had to describe yourself in three words \u2013 which ones would you choose?<\/strong>
\nEnergetic, warm, and honest.<\/p>\n

Do you have a motto or quote you like?<\/strong>
\n\u201dThe future is shaped by those who care\u201d<\/p>\n
