The call is aimed at projects that, through concrete investments in rural areas, contribute to measurable improvements for the environment and climate in the area, in line with indicator R.27 within the strategic plan.<\/p>\n<h3>What does indicator R.27 measure?<\/h3>\n<p>Indicator R.27 measures the number of rural projects that, through investments, contribute to environmental sustainability and to limiting and\/or adapting society to climate change.<\/p>\n<h3>Requirements for eligible projects<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1. Clear contribution to environmental and\/or climate goals<br \/>\n<\/strong>The project should contribute to at least one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>environmental sustainability<\/li>\n<li>reduced climate impact<\/li>\n<li>adaptation to climate change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Implementation of actual measures<br \/>\n<\/strong>The project should include concrete measures, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>investments (physical, technological or nature-based)<\/li>\n<li>implementation of solutions or systems<\/li>\n<li>pilot or demonstration efforts leading to practical application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pure feasibility studies, analyses or information efforts without implementation are <strong>not<\/strong> eligibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Lasting benefit<br \/>\n<\/strong>The project&#039;s measures should produce long-term or lasting effects, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reduced emissions over time<\/li>\n<li>improved resilience to climate change<\/li>\n<li>strengthened ecosystems or more efficient resource use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4.
