Summer gig with Vesper

About the project

The project aims to carry out an open performance with the band ”Vesper” during the Gylsboda Festival on August 2, 2025, in the nature-close cultural house Sliperiet in Gylsboda. Vesper is a young band from Osby with a calm rock sound that has previously made appreciated performances in the area. Through the concert, the project wants to create a cultural and inspiring experience for a young audience, while also giving the band the opportunity to perform their own music in front of a wider audience.

The initiative is based on a clear need for more creative and inclusive spaces where young people can gather, develop, and express themselves artistically. By combining music, nature, and community, the project wants to show that young people have a natural place in cultural life and that their expressions deserve a stage.

The project's goal is to inspire continued creative activity among young people, increase engagement around culture in the region, and strengthen collaboration between young cultural practitioners and local actors such as Sliperiet. The performance is arranged with free admission on a large outdoor area, open to all, making the event accessible to a wide audience.

The band Vesper and the project group directly benefit from the opportunity for artistic and organizational development. Indirectly, the audience and the association life in the area benefit from a strengthening cultural experience that can inspire future initiatives.
