About Skånes Ess
The vision and goal is that Skånes Ess in 2020 is a pioneering area where sustainable use of local resources creates quality of life for all. Efforts are directed to strengthen the identity-creating profile by enhancing innovation capacities, increasing local influence opportunities, finding new forms of collaboration, and developing, utilizing, and caring for natural and cultural resources.
Skånes Ess, whose leader area includes Bromölla, Kristianstad, Osby, and Östra Göinge municipalities, works with locally led development through the leader method within the rural fund, social fund, and regional fund. Our neighboring area, LEADER Southeast Skåne, also works within the maritime and fisheries fund in the geographical area of Skånes Ess.
Skånes Ess has prioritized and allocated all assigned funds to local projects during the years 2014 – 2024. Skånes Ess as an association will conclude in 2025. The leader activities in the area will continue in Leader Eastern Skåne.
