About LEADER Southeastern Skåne
In southeastern Skåne, the leader method was used during two program periods; Leader Ystad-Österlenregionen between 2007 and 2013 and LEADER Southeastern Skåne between 2014 and 2025.
LEADER Southeastern Skåne included the municipalities of Simrishamn, Sjöbo, Tomelilla, and Ystad and was financed by participating municipalities, the Swedish state, and four EU funds: the Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, the Maritime and Fisheries Fund, the Regional Development Fund, and the Social Fund. Within the Maritime and Fisheries Fund, an expanded leader area was created that included the above municipalities as well as Bromölla, Kristianstad, Osby, and Östra Göinge.
