Stage power

The project was carried out in Skånes Ess during the 2014-2024 program period.

Through a professional mobile stage, entrepreneurs, municipalities, non-profit associations, young people and other interested parties will be offered a place to gather to connect, develop and strengthen the municipality.

About the project

Lions Club Bromölla often organizes events of various kinds, but lacked a professional stage. There was no mobile stage available in the immediate area either. The project therefore purchased a used mobile stage that was supplemented with decor, sound and lighting equipment. The project group learned to use the stage and equipment safely and professionally. The stage was used for the first time on December 11, 2016, when Bromölla's 50th Lucia celebration was arranged and all Lucias throughout the 50 years were invited.

Results

The mobile stage is now also available for rental, with the proceeds going to improving the situation for children and young people in the area.

The project creates conditions for associations and organizations in the area to organize events and outdoor events that develop their activities. The investment can contribute to positive collaboration between associations in the area and to new interesting cross-connections, networks and constellations, and thus lead to new, innovative ideas. The project also contributes to strengthening the identity of the region. A steering group is being appointed with representatives from the municipality and associations, which will ensure quality and safety in the use of the stage. The project fits into the strategy for Skånes Ess and primarily contributes to the goals of the priority area of cross-connections.
