Exhibition – Business and entrepreneurship in Perstorp

For many, Perstorp is known as an industrial town with well-known companies, some of which are also established in the international market. Through an exhibition that highlights good role models from the town, the project wanted to stimulate and inspire new entrepreneurship.

With an on-site exhibition in Hembygdsgården and a digital exhibition with mobile solutions, the project wanted to focus on the history, present and future of the town. This in turn shows what entrepreneurship has meant to the area and can inspire new entrepreneurs to take big steps.

The exhibition shows what society has built up, gives visitors a "joy of recognition" and has good potential to inspire new entrepreneurship!

A working group was formed with representatives from the non-profit, public and private sectors. The project identified various companies and individuals who would be part of the exhibition, and then the material for the exhibition could be gathered and developed.

In parallel with producing supporting materials such as photographs, newspaper articles and objects for the exhibition, the premises at Hembygdsgården were also adapted. Suitable lighting was installed, holders for signs were manufactured and both tables and shelves were built. In order for the exhibition to be mobile, material was produced that works outside the physical premises. An introductory film has been produced through Perstorps Tekniska Gymnasium, a film that is part of the digital exhibition.

The collaboration with The House of Plastics in Perstorp has given the exhibition more marketing as they are the municipality's tourist office and can answer questions about, among other things, opening hours and guided tours.
