Nature exhibition Boketorp

Boketorp will be the new entrance to Hovdala – a meeting place for nature and learning

About the project

Boketorp is now being developed into a vibrant meeting place for nature enthusiasts of all ages. Hässleholm Municipality, together with Göingebygden's biological association, wants to renovate the red barn to enable year-round operations and create a permanent nature exhibition.

The initiative will make Boketorp a clear entrance to the newly established Hovdala nature reserve – a place where visitors will receive an inspiring introduction to the area's natural values and cultural history. The exhibition is designed to be accessible and engaging, with a special focus on children and young people. It will arouse curiosity and deepen knowledge about biodiversity.

The project builds on previous developments in the area and creates new opportunities for associations and local businesses to collaborate and reach more target groups. By combining biological expertise with pedagogy and creative design, the goal is to create a long-term and sustainable concept for nature communication.

Boketorp will thus become a place for learning, experiences and engagement – in the middle of nature, close to history and with an eye towards the future.
