Umbrella project: Environment

The project's goal was to enable financing of a number of environmental measures to reduce the future impact on our already vulnerable environment. A sustainable society is about meeting today's needs without compromising the needs of future generations. LAG wanted to contribute through the project to an increased awareness that measures for the environment are an asset and a success factor.

LAG and administrative staff have spread the opportunity about the project in their networks, via
advertising in the press and via our website. Regito AB conducted a sub-activity where they tested whether biochar can have a positive effect on acidified watercourses and lakes. Based on the multiple water samples taken, the effects of biochar were then analyzed. The study shows that biochar has a positive effect on acidified watercourses.
