Youth Board in Eastern Skåne – first meeting held!
On April 18, the youth board met for its very first meeting – and it was immediately noticeable that there is a lot of commitment. Young people from all over the region gathered to share ideas, perspectives and thoughts on how we can develop our local communities together.
During the meeting, the group developed concrete proposals for activities and initiatives that will strengthen young people's participation in the municipalities. The desire to influence and make a difference is clear.

During the spring and summer, the youth board will be more visible in the municipalities – through activities, workshops and new opportunities to get involved.
Together we create a more vibrant and young Eastern Skåne.
Ung i Östra Skåne is a support and platform for young people who want to create activities, events or meeting places in the municipalities within Leader Östra Skåne. The focus is on young people's own ideas, participation and rural development.
- Young people (15–25 years old) can apply for up to SEK 35,000 to implement their idea.
- The project must be new, open and free of charge for young people in the area.
- At least two people must apply together.
- Collaboration with an association, company or organization that can act as a financial partner is required.
