About Leader Eastern Skåne
Leader Östra Skåne is a non-profit association that works with rural development through the Leader method and grants project support to associations, companies and public organizations. The Leader method, which is used throughout the EU, is based on the idea that local development is carried out most effectively and sustainably by those who live and work in an area and when the private, non-profit and public sectors work together. Each Leader area has a local development strategy that forms the basis for development in the area. Leader Östra Skåne includes the municipalities of Bromölla, Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Osby, Perstorp, Simrishamn, Tomelilla, Ystad and Östra Göinge. The activities are financed by funds from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, the Swedish state and the participating municipalities.
Today, we have an operations manager and a communicator employed, now we are looking for a project coach and administrator for our business.
Job description
You will work in a small but creative and solution-focused team, in close collaboration with both the operations manager and the communicator.
As a project coach, you will provide information about the possibilities of applying for support from Leader Eastern Skåne, as well as coach potential support applicants and help them set up their projects and design their applications, both based on the Leader method and with regard to finances and current regulations.
In the role of administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that incoming cases are processed promptly and objectively in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's processing system and for maintaining continued contact with applicants for support.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the association's board receives relevant information in good time before making project decisions and for keeping project owners updated on the status of their project and payment applications.
Preparing data for monitoring the project's target results, and thus the association's goals, is also part of the work.
Qualifications
To fit into our team, we believe that you are outgoing, creative, independent and have the ability to take your own initiative. You should also be meticulous and enjoy familiarizing yourself with and following rules and regulations.
We are looking for someone who has:
- knowledge of Leader and its activities
- a great interest in rural development
- experience in coaching or running projects
- university education or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent and relevant to the job task
- good knowledge of the various software in the Office suite
- good communication skills and can express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- knowledge of publicity and confidentiality
- driving license and access to your own car.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked with administration at Leader, the Swedish Board of Agriculture, the County Administrative Board or another government agency.
Terms of employment
Employment type: Permanent employment, probationary period for the first 6 months.
Scope: 50 % (the right person may be able to get additional part-time in another role)
Access: As soon as possible, by agreement.
Salary form: Monthly salary
Placement: To be agreed upon in the event of employment, there is the possibility of working partially from home.
