More attractive vine leaves
The entrepreneurs in Vinslöv, together with the residents, wanted to make the town more attractive by producing architectural sketches where the citizens' views were both clarified and presented.
About the project
This project emerged as a result of our LAG-owned project called ”More attractive places in the municipality of Hässleholm.” By letting the residents’ opinions form the basis for the architects’ work, the project aimed to elevate the Vinslöv of the future.
Activities
Sketches and drawings have been produced on how Vinslöv can be developed into a more attractive place. Four locations were selected as so-called development areas and it is around these locations that the sketches have been prepared. These include the square, the entrance to Vinslöv and two parks – Badhusparken and Centralparken.
Results
The project's results were shown at an exhibition at Sparbanken Göinge's premises and through social media. The architect-drawn sketches turned out better than expected! The next step was to discuss further with Hässleholm Municipality, and primarily with the Technical Administration, about how the square in Vinslöv can be improved.
The end result, when the sketches have left the paper and are ready on site in Vinslöv, will benefit many: Residents, businesses and visitors.
In addition to this, the project has contributed to increased competence, new forms of collaboration and development of the local countryside.
