Base Camp Skåne
The project was implemented in Leader Lag PH during the 2014-2024 programming period.
Creating a good collaboration with our collaboration partners went better than planned, which meant a continuation of the Filmcafé.
About the project
The project's starting points were to investigate what needs existed, and to provide various suggestions for good ways to take advantage of the filming locations in the area.
Activities
New contacts were made with key people from the industry, mainly with people within the municipality but also meetings with key people outside the municipality and still within Region Skåne. Tours and dialogues with people and entrepreneurs within the industry made the vision for the future concrete.
Results
The goal of the project was to develop a proposal for an action plan aimed at facilitating film production and to create a website that markets the area as film-friendly. The goal was achieved and the website was marketed through press information, newsletters and dialogues, among other things.
In addition to what was created during the course of the project, the development work has continued through, among other things, more network meetings and a seminar series. The public lecture series called "Filmcafé" also continued and the project resulted in a newly started company.
The project achieved new networks where some contacts continued after the project period. The target group was both residents of the municipality with a general interest in film and amateur filmmakers. New and personal contacts were made among these. The participants in the project's courses and seminars have received a broader increase in skills.
