TSOS's web & radio production

The project was implemented in Leader Lag PH during the 2014-2024 programming period.

Tyringe has many different leisure activities to offer, but especially when it comes to sports. Culture is rarely prioritized financially, something that the project owner wanted to change by offering a wider range.

About the project

With several different leisure activities for those interested in sports but very little to do in the cultural area, the offering needed to be balanced.

By training young people in the production of web and radio broadcasts, the project aimed to both develop the skills of young people and improve opportunities for social sustainability.

Activities

At a total of 40 different training sessions, ten people, both girls and boys, received solid skills development. The training consisted of camera technology, network connectivity, sound editing, fact-finding, editing, interview techniques, web management and stage production, among other things.

A third activity of the project was the study visits that the group made and practical exercises that were carried out at Tyrs Hov.

Results

The teaching materials that were developed during the project are still available and can be reused for future training.

Through the web production that the young people create, approximately 5,000 people will have received improved service, especially since the material will be used at several gatherings, including international ones.

The project created a new cultural activity and a new technology. At the end of the project, it was also clear that the project owner wanted to continue the activity.
